Deleted photos of facebook can be accessed from the direct link. Photos may exists for more than 3 years after the deletion from the facebook

It has been just revealed that all pictures, users have deleted from their Facebook profile may still exist on the internet. Arstechnica posted that this flaw still exists on Facebook server and company has also admitted this. Facebook said that its older systems for storing uploaded content “did not always delete images from content delivery networks in a reasonable period of time even though they were immediately removed from the site,” but said it’s currently finishing up a newer system that makes the process much quicker.

If you want to access the deleted photos, you can access those photos via the direct link. Once a user delete the photo from facebook, only the link to the photo from your profile is removed. But the photo still exists on the web. If you know the direct link to that photo, yu can access the photo by putting direct link on the URL bar.

This issue was first raised 3 years before but its hard to believe that the problem still exists after this 3 years long time period.
