BSNL TabletBharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched three tablets on Friday. Company is also offering data plans with these tablets which will be available till May, 31. Users can enjoy data plan of 5 GB for 60 days. After the free offer ends, consumers can recharge for Rs. 750 to enjoy yhe same offer.

All these three tablets are manufactured by Noida based company, Pantel Technologies Private Limited (PTPL). Virendra Singh, managing director of Pantel Technologies,” We are also in talks with MTNL for providing the tablets with discounted data plans for consumers in Delhi and Mumbai.”
Entry level tablet, Penta IS701R is priced of Rs 3,499 and two mid-range tablets with 7 inch and 8 inch displays cost Rs 10,999 and Rs 13,500 respectively.

Entry level model, Penta IS701R is powered by 1 GHz processor and 256 MB RAM. It comes with Android 2.3 operating system. This tablet features 7 inch resistive touch screen comes with 800×600 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. It also have WiFi and HDMI port.

The 7 inches tablet ‘Penta Tpad_ws704c’ has a capacitive touch screen. It has same processor with 512 MB RAM and OS as in Penta IS701R. it also features a 2 MP camera and offers 3G connectivity through SIM slot, inbuilt A-GPS, Accelerometer and Bluetooth.

The third tablet Tpad WS802C comes with 8 inch capacitive screen and a SIM slot for 3G/ 2G connectivity. This tablet is powered by 1.2 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM. It also features GPS, 2 MP camera and Bluetooth. It comes with 4GB internal storage.
