ZTE to launch Windows Phone in India

ZTE is planning to launch its windows phone based device, ZTE Tania in Indian Market.

Chinese Mobile phone maker, ZTE has announced its first Windows Phone ZTE Tania in UK, few days back. Now the company is planning to enter in Indian smartphone market with this windows phone device.

ZTE Tania is based on Windows Phone 7.5. The device is powered by 1 GHz processor. This 10.7 mm thick smartphone has a 4.3 inch touchscreen with WVGA 800 x 480 pixel resolution. Smartphone also features a 5 MP camera with with autofocus and flash. The expected price of the device is likely to be around Rs 12-15,000 when it arrives in India.

Company had already planned this moove few months back when ZTE official announced in a launch, “We are studying the market and will soon come out with ZTE branded phones and tablets in the Indian market.”

Indian Market is already full of lots of device makers and this another entry will certainly offer more choice to the consumer.
