Rajnikanth website runs without internet

It’s not a joke…100% true, afterall it’s about Rajnikanth…!! A new website which is dedicated to the superstar Rajnikanth runs without an internet connection.

A portal for all bollywood news,Desimartini.com released a microsite http://www.desimartini.com/allaboutrajni.htm.

The website has been designed by Webchutney for desimartini.com. The developers of the site inspired by Rajni wanted to make the site unique in every way possible. WebChutney had a mandate to design Rajnikanth’s website for his 61st birthday and after going through many deliberations, they wanted the website to run on Rajni Power, not Internet.

There are many Interesting things about this website, like while browsing, if a user connects to the internet, a message pops up, which says, “This was unexpected. To keep browsing, switch off your internet”. So, it’s best to keep your internet connection off to enter the site. If a visitor attempts to re-connect the internet, an error message will appear in a Rajnikanth’s style.

“Aiyyo! That was unexpected. To keep browsing, switch off your Internet,” reads the message.Visitors to www.allaboutrajni.com are greeted with a warning that “He is no ordinary man, this is no ordinary website. It runs on Rajni Power”.

This website is purely for rajnikanth’s Fans and they can view interesting stuffs about Rajni like His stunts, images and interesting jokes, all can be looked at, in one destination. It has basically three sections- Rajnikanth the man, the superstar, and the legend. One can trace the story of the legend from the beginning, read inside scoops from his films and get a glimpse of behind-the-scenes action.

“The unbelievable spectacle of running a website without the internet is a tribute to Rajnikant’s larger than life image,” claimed Webchutney’s creative director Gurbaksh Singh, who developed the site for Desimartini.com.

Singh told that the website is based on a complex algorithm running in the back-end that keeps an eye on the propagation of data packets between two terminals.
