Orkut launches app for iOS devices

Orkut engineers are still working on the social networking website to make it easier to use and better. Now Orkut has launched an app for iOS devices.

Orkut is a social networking website which was owned by Google back in 2004. This website was very popular in Brazil and India. But facebook has overtaken Orkut in all the major countries. Now Orkut is only fighiting to save its existance. Orkut is trying to attract more users by improving the service and features. This time it has launched an app for iOS devices which is available for free download from iOS app store. This app is compatible with iOS 4.0 on the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.

This app allows users to to scrap to their friends, see their updates, reply to their friends’ birthdays, update status, browse friends’ profiles, scraps and photos and take photos and directly upload them to Orkut albums.

After Google has launched Google+, orkut is doesnot get any big update or feature. Users of Orkut has also switched to Facebook. So orkut is going down day by day.
