McAfee released Mobile security 2.0 for Symbian, Android and BlackBerry

McAfee Mobile securityLeading computer security solution provider McAfee has just released the new Mobile security software for Symbian, Android and BlackBerry devices. This application Mobile Security 2.0 is now available to download from app markets for $29.99. Existing subscribers can update their mobile security for free.

This app is packed with several new features such as McAfee App Alert, which allows users to check important information about what apps are doing with their sensitive data.

Application also allows users to block unwanted numbers and spam texts with SMS filter feature. This Mobile Security software also includes some other features like: Anti-virus, Anti-spyware and Anti-phishing protection, Web Protection, Anti-theft protection, Device Lock, Remotely Wipe Data, as well as Backup and Restore Data.

Company is also offering a 7 days trial offer only for Android devices in which user can use the app for free for 7 days but they can not take advantage of all features available in the full version.

β€œIt is increasingly clear that using a smartphone without security means any sensitive information, such as photos, bank account information or company data on that mobile device is at risk of falling into the wrong hands,” said John Thode, executive vice president and general manager, Consumer, Mobile and Small Business at McAfee.

This mobile security application is fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
