After a long time, now the firefox 12 is about to come with new design of tab pages and home tab. This new design of home tab and tab pages is similar to Google Chrome design with many similarities.

The Home tab has added launcher buttons at the bottom of the page which allows users to access Bookmark, History, downloads, settings, apps, and so on at one click. It also has a Google search bar the center of the page which is the result of Google, Mozilla deal

The new tab page really just shows you a 3-by-3 grid of your most-visited websites as you have already seen in Google Chrome. You can also drag and drop the tiles to rearrange tha location. You can also hide the tiles which do not like to show in the grid.

FireFox also comes with URL autocompletion and web app integration. This is also already available in Google Chrome.
