Twitter has just launched the new design for its website and all the apps which is the biggest move of twitter. It also added some new features to stand in the battle of social networks.

In this new design company added a new home page and profile page. But the main focus was the brand pages. Although the brand pages is not available for all brands but its a good move to compete with Google+ pages and Facebook pages.

Brand pages have many options for customization including page color, logo and possibility to select a promoted tweet which will sit at the top of the feed.

It seems a good move of Twitter. This will help the twitter to attract brands too. Company has already more than 100 million users and this will surely increase some count.

Google+ and Facebook already have brand pages that allow brands to connect with their customers. We cannot say how Twitter brand pages will attract users and get success. But this step shows that Twitter wants to be more than just a microblogging website.
