Social networking service Tagged has acquired the social game network Hi5. Now the combination of both companies will increase the total number of registered users upto 350 million. The term of deals are not disclosed but the hi5 website and userbase is now under Tagged.
Hi5 was the third popular social network in 2008. Company also tried to remain in the market by announcing itself as a social gaming company for this it has acquired social game developer Big Six.
Tagged has do not much users in US but it has strong userbase in southeast asia as well as in European countries. Only 10% of its users overlaps with hi5.
Hi5’s website will be live and user can enter into Tagged site through hi5’s domain.
