One of the most popular CLod based onlne gaming service, OnLive is now available to play on Android based phones and tablets. Before this announcememnt, the service was only available for TVs, PCs and Macs, but starting today gamers will be able to play their OnLive purchased games on Android smartphones and tablets.

All the games will be available to play via the free OnLive app. This service for Android is only available for UK and US only.

There are only 25 games which are only available ncluding Assassins Creed: Revelations, Lord of the Rings: War in the North, L.A. Noire from Rockstar Games and LEGO Batman: The Videogame.

“Today marks a major milestone: OnLive is now delivering the latest, console-class, top-tier games, literally to your fingertips, on tablets and phones for instant, on-demand play anywhere, anytime,” said Steve Perlman, OnLive Founder and CEO.

“Tablets and smartphones, the fastest-growing consumer product categories in history, are now capable of running the hottest, highest-end games. Gaming and mobile devices will never be the same,” added Perlman.

The most important feature of this company is that any game purchased on one OnLive app device (TV, PC, Mac, tablet or mobile device) can be played on any other OnLive app device. Because OnLive offers full cloud save game data.

This app is available for download in the Android Market and can be installed on the device running Android 2.3 Gingerbread or higher.
