Facebook to Debut Subscribe Button for Websites

After the launch of Google+, facebook is trying to update the website with some new features. Few months back it had announced an optional subscribe button which allow users to follow the post of a user who is not in the friend list.

Now the social netowrking giant has announced to launch the subscribe plugin for the website.

“We will soon launch the Subscribe plugin, an extension of the Subscribe button, that publishers and other developers can add to their web sites to make it easy for people to connect to reporters and public figures in one click. We have no further details to share at this time,” the company said after Facebook’s Joanna Shields revealed the feature at this year’s LeWeb conference.

This new subscribe plugin button is just like the twitter follow. But it will be interesting to see the use aand popularity of this plugin.
