Today i came to know some strange behavior of Facebook. I got to know that i am not getting all the messages sent to me by my friends and followers. Facebook is doing this with all the account holders. No one on the social network is getting all the messages directly in the inbox.

Facebook has an algorithm to filter your messages and it filters some messages it thinks less important message. You can see these filtered messages in the tab ‘others’ which can be found just below the messages tab. see the snapshot.

After clicking on the other tab, i found many unread messages. I was surprised and upset for those important messages which i had just discovered. But it was too late to reply.

I will suggest to check this tab to see those filtered messages which can be important sometimes.

Update: After Facebook has rolled out new timeline design and message interface, finding other folder for message is different from the the shown in the above picture. I am updating it with new picture
