Dropbox for Android 2.0 now available

Dropbox has just announced the release of its mobile application for Android operating system. This new release brings lots of new features with an improved interface. This new application is redesigned for better user experience.

These are some improvements and new features which this new release brings:

  • Favorites: Want to make sure a file is always on your phone? Star it for quick offline access.
  • Bulk upload: No need to upload files one at a time. Select multiple photos and videos to be uploaded in the background.
  • File renaming: Simple as it sounds – files and folders can now be renamed.
  • Ice Cream Sandwich support: Optimized for the newest and tastiest Android release yet: Ice Cream Sandwich.
  • Single-tap access to actions: All file and folder actions are available from a single tap.
This application also brings new improved gallery.  Users can upload files from local storage and can export files to local system. It is compatible with all devices running under Android 2.1 or higher OS versions.
