Micromax officially launches Android based A85, X78

Indian handset maker, Micromax has launched 2 new Android based smartphones. One is a dual core smartphone, Superfone A85 and other is X78, a touch and type slider phone.

A85 is powered by dual-core 1 GHz microprocessor and runs on Android 2.2. It has a nice GUI with motion sensor. It has 3.8 inch capacitive touchscreen display with WVGA (480×800) pixel resolution. This smartphone featurs 5 MP camera but no flash. It a has VGA camera at the front for Video calling. This phone is loaded with all the multimedia features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G. This smarphoe is availabe at the price of Rs 18,990.

x78 is a low cost touch and type slider phone with2.8 inch resistive TFT touchscreen display. It also features a 3.2 MP camera with LED flash and 4x zoom. X78 supports GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth v3.0 and WiFi and comes pre-loaded with Opera Mini browser and Google search. This phone is available on the price of Rs 4,849.
