Twitter has 100 million active users, iOS5 tripled signup

During the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco, Twitter CEO Dick Costolo has revealed some interesting stats about the twitter and its growth. He also told that the new iOS5 with twitter integration has tripled the rate of new sign up to this micro blogging website.
Twitter has been growing rapidly on the internet in terms of users and other stats. Twitter had 100 million tweets per day back in january while it crosses the 200 million tweet per day in June.
This time the website has 100 million users of which 50% comes to the website daily.  “We had 30% of our monthly active users loggin in every day at the beginning of the year. Now it’s over 50%,” Costolo revealed.
But the most interesting fact to see the impact of the new update of iOS with twitter integration which have boosted the growth of twitter thrice.
