Linked announced this in a blog post saying,”We are excited to announce LinkedIn’s new company status updates, that will now let members receive further insights — breaking news about the company, employee moves, relevant job opportunities or the latest on their products and services including multimedia content — directly from the companies they follow.”
“Since our launch of Company Follow, nearly a year and a half ago, we’ve had over tens of millions of professionals follow over 2 million companies on LinkedIn. This is a natural evolution aimed at making it easier for companies to communicate with their audience — whether it’s employees, customers or prospects,” it added.
After this update, company profile is looking like facebook page. This feature will help companies to intract more with the followers.
