Google is now taking its Wallet to the next stage with new features like coupons and special offers at several partners. Google is also trying its hard to make users able to pay for anything with their mobile phones.
“Today, our partners American Eagle Outfitters, The Container Store, Foot Locker, Guess, Jamba Juice, Macy’s, OfficeMax and Toys“R”Us are rolling out an even better Google Wallet experience. For the first time ever in the U.S., at these stores, you can not only pay but also redeem coupons and/or earn rewards points – all with a single tap of your phone. This is what we call the Google Wallet SingleTap experience,” Spencer Spinnell, Director for Emerging Markets at Google, announced.
Now you can walk in the selected stores with your wallet in your hand and pay with your smart phone.
Google is trying to get more and more partners in this service to make this service available for every products
