eBay, the online auction company is planning to add image recognition technology in its mobile offerings so that user can search items by image. Suppose you want to search for a dress as your friends have, take a pic of the dress from the mobile and then search on the ebay store for similar dress  This seems a nice idea to search the items.
Speaking on the sidelines of eBay’s X.commerce conference in San Francisco on Wednesday, CEO John Donahoe said eBay plans to roll out the feature by the end of the year.
But company has not told anything more about this feature. But we can guess that this feature will come as an update to the ebay app.
This feature will help users to search the exact item what they are looking for.
