Yahoo CEO Bartz fired over the phone

Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz fired over the phone call by Yahoo Inc Chairman Roy Bostock. Chief Financial Officer Tim Morse will step in as interim CEO. In the mean time company will search a strong leader for the new CEO who can give a boost to Yahoo in the battle with large rivals of market like facebook and Google. 
Carol Bartz said in a statement,”I am very sad to tell you that I’ve just been fired over the phone by Yahoo’s Chairman of the Board. It has been my pleasure to work with all of you and I wish you only the best going forward.”
a company person close to the comapny told that the desicion came from the vote of Yahoo’s 8 independent directors late last week. But Bartz, and Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang was not participated in the vote.
Yahoo is going through bad times and showing loss in every quarter results. This action taken by the company shows that they have now no option. So they want to give a try to new person to take the command of the comapny.
