Phishers are trying new way with Fake offers

Day by day, people are also becoming advanced in the technology and with the increase in the cyber crimes they also care about the security. This is the main reason why simple hacking methods doesn’t work now. But Hackers are also becoming more advanced day by day.
The latest report by Symantec is the proof for this statement. Symantec wrote in its blog that this advanced trick of phishing is not just a fake page. The phishing site masqueraded as a well known software company which offers upto 80 % discount and if the user tries to purchase website asks credit cards details. If any users had fallen victim to the phishing site, the phishers would have successfully stolen their confidential information for financial gain.
These fake websites has the fake trust seals of some big security companies which when clicked, popped up a window that referenced a fake site. The URL of the fake site utilized sub-domain randomization.
Symantec has adviced people not to use this kind of websites and purchase softwares only from original vendors. Always try not to click on any suspicious links on emails and never provide personal data in any email where it is not necessary.
