After some bad days for Yahoo Inc. not company is trying to get back with some latest updated features. Yahoo is now betting on facebook with the launch of new social way of getting and sharing news. Now you can can discover the content through their friends.
Yahoo Director of Product Management Jonathan Katzman says,”Yahoo has always had amazing content and amazing editorial ability. Now users can discover the content through their friends.”
Open the yahoo news where you will be able to see facebook login button. Once a user use the service, he will be able to see what news stories his friends have read on both Facebook and Yahoo News.
There is also now a “You on Yahoo News” widget that sits to the right of the content. This widget lets you see a history of what you’ve read and gives you options for removing different stories from your Yahoo News feed and turning the social features off altogether.
This is just a start of Yahoo to team up with facebook. Facebook can be a great help to Yahoo if it use it in smarter way.
