Internet giant Google is increasing its grip in the UK. Last month it got record users in google search and now it’s the turn of its browser Chrome. Chrome is now the second most popular web browser in the UK which got 22% of UK visitors last month by overtaking firefox.
Internet explorer is losing its grip in the browser market but it is still the most popular web browser in the UK. Safari is at number 4 after firefox with a 9% share.
Just 3 years after its launch Google chrome is crossing milestones day by day. The latest study report says that IE users have lower IQ levels than opera and chrome users which shows that chrome is most popular among geeks and genius.
Internet explorer is the default web browser in windows this is the main reason for its high usage. Windows is most widely used all over the world and IE is pre-installed software in that. But with the rate by which IE is losing its market, it will be interesting to see the browser war in near future.
