Karbonn Launches Its First Android phone Karbonn A1Karbonn Mobile has announced its first android phone in India based on Android 2.2, Karbonn A1. This smartphone has 2.8 inch capacitive touch with 3G and WiFi.

Karbonn A1 is being compared with Micromax A60 because of many similarities. But there are some differences too. Karbonn A1 has 600MHz processor, 3.2 MP camera, 3G, WiFi, GPS and upto 32GB expandable memory.

Company announced, “Karbonn plans to invest around 5 million US dollars on the marketing and promotional activities of these smartphones, they are expecting their smartphones sales to contribute about 10% to their total volume target. These smartphones will be tailor made to suit the diverse lifestyles of the consumers, so, there will be an Android phone for everyone, be it a business executive, style conscious youth, students or even a housewife”.
