Android 3.1 update for Motorola Xoom available from today

Its a good news for users of Motorola Xoom and Xoom WiFi in India. They will recieve an update from Android 3.0 to Android 3.1. This new update will bring a lots of new features to users. It includes transfer picture directly from camera, so users can connect their cameras over USB and import their pictures to the gallery with a single touch.

The most notable feature in this update is that it activates the SD card slot so users can expand the memory of their Motorola Xoom up to 64GB. It also improves multitasking and adds support for Bluetooth Keyboard and mouse.

It also enable users ti transfer photos directly from camera. Users can also connect caamera over USB to import photos to gallery.

Users can download this update manually by going to “Settings > About Tablet > System Updates”. The upgrade is about 40MB in size. This update is not available as over the air update. So users need to update from the Motorola website. Other countries that receives this update include Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
