Acer Iconia tab A100

Acer is now going to launch its new Acer Iconia tab A100 in September with Android. After the great success of Acer Iconia Tab A500 with 10 inch display. Now this new A100 has 7inch display so the people who want more portable device can buy and enjoy it.

Acer Germany has said via Facebook that the tablet could be launched sometime during September, though it was supposed to launch it much earlier than that. Acer has decided to maintain official silence over the delay. However, the best part is that the tablet could be launched with Android 3.2 instead of 3.1 which is a very welcome move.

The Acer Iconia tab A100 will share a lot of hardware similarities with its fuller sibling – like the same NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU and dual cameras. In terms of memory, it’s looking to size up with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage – though, there will also be a 16GB version as well.
