Facebook has achieved a major milestone in its growth. This service has now 750 million active registered users. This is not the official announcement. I got this news from a post on TechCrunch. According to sources company will announce anything officially when it will reach to a the milestone of  billion users. Facebook’s user count metric only count those users who has logged in within the last 30 days. It never count inactive users.

Actually company do not want to disclose officially as it wasn’t respond to its milestone of reaching 500 million users. So it should not be surprising. The last semi-official update came from a leaked Goldman Sachs report for potential Facebook investors that pegged the number at 600 million in January.

Facebook is the fastest growing company on the internet and it is hitting daily a new milestone in terms of users and revenue. No doubt people spend more time on Facebook that they spend on their daily life. Social media now has great impact on our daily life and Facebook is most important.

US and India are the biggest two countries that contribute most of the Facebook users. Facebook is growing fast in other countries too. Google is also trying its best to beat the popularity of Facebook. Let’s see what Google will do. Till then, enjoy Facebook add stay connected with friends.
