AT&T launched a new Windows Phone-based device on its airwaves, HTC HD7S. Here “S” stands for the Super LCD WVGA screen. It is available for purchase on AT&T’s online store and also on Amazon’s store.
The new mobile phone was added to AT&T’s offering with a price tag of $199.99 attached to it with the signing of a two-year contract agreement. But those who would like to purchase the device can buy it at half price on Amazon.
The new HTC HD7S has similar features and specifications as the smartphone HTC HD7, which brought Windows Phone 7 to T-Mobile’s customers back in November.
HTC HD7S for AT&T runs on Windows Phone 7 OS. It will feature a 4.3-inch WVGA Super LCD Screen. HTC HD7S is powered by a 1GHz processor. It also features a high-quality 5-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash which can take photos at 2592х1944 pixels resolution. The camera also comes with a 720p HD video recording capability.
It comes with 576 MB of RAM and 512 MB of ROM. It also features 16GB of onboard memory (sadly without any micro-SD slot).
Connectivity options of this smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.1, and A-GPS. It is packed with a 1230 mAh battery which is expected to perform well on this configuration.
The phone is coming pre-loaded with the latest Windows Phone 7 NoDo update.
