OpenAI now allows everyone access to ChatGPT without requiring sign-up or login. So, you don’t need to create an account to access ChatGPT. Even if you have an account, you no longer need to sign in to use ChatGPT.

The company says that it decided to open chat GPT access to provide widespread access to ChatGPT. Currently, ChatGPT is being used by more than 100 million people from 185 countries weekly.
If you use ChatGPT without an account, it will not save your chats. So, there will be no chat history. You will lose the ability to share chats or use custom instructions. Because these features have to be associated with an account.
OpenAI confirmed that it will still use your chat conversations to enhance its models. Click the ? Icon at the lower right-hand side and then click Settings. Disable the toggle in front of “Improve the model for everyone.”
OpenAI also says that the open version of ChatGPT will have slightly more restrictive content policies. However, the company didn’t clarify what kind of more restrictive policies there will be.
