Forza Horizon 6 Surpasses 6 Million Players

Forza Horizon 6

Forza Horizon 6 has crossed a major milestone shortly after launch. Developer Playground Games has confirmed that the open-world racing game has already surpassed 6 million players across Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The figure includes both direct game sales and players accessing the game through Xbox Game Pass. The milestone highlights the strong launch performance of the latest entry in Microsoft’s popular racing franchise.

Apart from the overall player count, Steam statistics also show impressive engagement on PC. According to the latest numbers, Forza Horizon 6 currently has 158,540 active players on Steam.

The game also recorded a 24-hour peak of 284,139 concurrent players. Interestingly, the 30-day peak and all-time peak are currently the same at 284,139 players, showing that the game recently reached its highest level of activity. These numbers were recorded on May 21, 2026.

The strong Steam performance is important because it shows that the game does not depend only on Game Pass users. A large number of players are also actively buying and playing the game directly through Steam.

The game is also generating solid interest on streaming platforms. On Twitch, the game currently has more than 23,000 active viewers and over 1,300 live channels streaming gameplay.

Its Twitch viewership reached a 24-hour peak of 73,020 viewers, while the all-time peak has already climbed to 98,771 viewers. These are strong numbers for a racing title, especially because racing games usually struggle to maintain long-term streaming popularity compared to multiplayer shooters and battle royale games.

The success of Forza Horizon 6 once again shows how strong the Horizon franchise has become over the years. The series continues to attract players by mixing arcade-style driving, open-world exploration, online events, and a massive collection of cars.

Xbox Game Pass has likely played a major role in helping the game reach millions of players quickly. Subscription services make it easier for players to try big-budget games at launch without spending full price separately.
