After releasing the Android app for the selected region on May 10, Clubhouse has finally released its Android app globally including India. This drop-in audio chat social media app has been trending for a couple of months.
The app is available to download in the Google Play Store. Use this link to download the app because searching for Clubhouse on the Play Store brings another app with the same name at the top of the search.
The global availability has been confirmed by the company on Twitter.
Even if you download the app, you still need an invite code from the person who is already a member of Clubhouse. Otherwise, you will have to join the waitlist until your chance comes. This invite-only system has been opted to control the scaling and growth. So, the company gets enough time to arrange resources.

Once you are in, you can follow people, join rooms and participate in different conversations taking place in Clubhouse. You canals browse through active conversations on Clubhouse and join.
