Honor has launched the Honor X9e Pro in Malaysia, bringing an unusually large 11,000mAh battery to a mid-range smartphone. The phone also combines a 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset and a 108MP camera with OIS.
The battery uses silicon-carbon technology and supports 80W wired charging. It also supports 27W reverse wired charging, allowing the phone to charge other compatible devices. Honor claims up to 66.8 hours of video playback.
The Honor X9e Pro has a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 2,788 x 1,280-pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It has a typical brightness of 800 nits and can reach 2,000 nits in high-brightness mode.
For supported video content, Honor claims a peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits. The display also supports 1.07 billion colours and 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset with 8GB of RAM. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB. The X9e Pro runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.
At the back, there is a 108MP primary camera with a 1/1.67-inch sensor and OIS. The rear camera can record video at up to 4K resolution. A 16MP camera is used for selfies and video calls.
Other features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and 5G connectivity.
Honor has given the X9e Pro IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for resistance against dust and water. It has also received an SGS five-star drop resistance certification. The phone is 8.08mm thick and weighs around 203 grams.
Honor X9e Pro price in Malaysia
The Honor X9e Pro is available for pre-order in Malaysia. The 8GB + 256GB model costs RM1,899, while the 8GB + 512GB variant costs RM2,399.
Honor has not announced an India launch for the X9e Pro yet.
