London-based technology company Nothing has confirmed a new smartphone category called the “B Series.” The move marks an expansion of its product lineup into a new segment.
The announcement came after a series of teasers from the company, including the slogan “It’s (b)eginning.” A dedicated page has also gone live on Flipkart, confirming that the upcoming device will be available in India.
Nothing Co-Founder Akis Evangelidis explained the updated naming system behind the company’s growing portfolio. In this structure, numbers represent product generations, while letters define product segments.
The A Series will continue as the premium mid-range line below the flagship models. The new B Series is positioned to broaden the lineup further while keeping clear separation between price tiers. The approach will at maintain a simple and structured product naming system.
Nothing India has shared teaser clips and promotional material, including one titled “(b)usted.” These hints suggest a new device is in development, widely speculated to be part of the B Series.
Although the company has not confirmed the name or specifications, early signs point toward an entry-level smartphone under the main Nothing brand.
The launch comes after Nothing confirmed that it will not introduce a new CMF Phone model this year due to pricing and supply chain challenges.
With this change, entry-level products are expected to move under the core Nothing brand. It will help the company streamline its portfolio while keeping its signature transparent design language.
