Dispatch is coming to Xbox Series and PC through the Microsoft Store this summer. AdHoc Studio confirmed that the Xbox version will include full Play Anywhere support, so players can switch between console and PC with shared progress.
The game has already been available on other platforms for some time. It first launched on PlayStation 5 and PC through Steam on October 22, 2025. It later arrived on Switch 2 and the regular Switch on January 29, 2026. With the new Xbox release, Dispatch will finally be available on every major platform.
Dispatch received a warm response when it launched. The game sold more than one million copies in just ten days, which is a big milestone for a story-focused indie title. It also won the Outstanding Story Rich Game award at the Steam Awards 2025. This proves that players are connected with its narrative and characters.
In the first few days after release, the game reached an all-time peak of 220,060 concurrent players, according to Techlomedia Gaming Stam Charts. That level of interest showed how quickly it gained attention. The situation today is different, and the game now gets around 2000 to 300 concurrent players daily. This is normal for story-driven games since many players complete the campaign and then move on. Still, the early success helped build a strong community and a positive image.
The game is a superhero workplace comedy adventure. Instead of focusing on battles, it explores the daily life and problems of people who work behind the scenes in a world full of heroes. It mixes humor, emotional storytelling, and character-driven moments in a way that feels fresh.
AdHoc Studio executive producer Michael Choung said in a press release that the game is about “messy, complicated people trying their best.” This gives a good idea of the tone. The game uses small personal stories to show how even heroic environments have very human struggles.
