X has decided to provide Premium+ subscribers with a completely ad-free experience. The company has removed ads from its top-tier Premium+ subscription that costs Rs. 1,133.33 per month in India and $16 a month in the US.
When X announced the Premium+ tier, it promised ads-free access. However, the rule wasn’t applied to all places. So, users were seeing ads at some places on the social media platform. Now Premium+ subscribers won’t see ads anywhere on the platform, including the For You timeline, Following timeline, post replies, and profiles. There’s still a catch. Premium+ subscribers may occasionally see “sponsored content beyond X’s standard ad inventory”. It could be sponsored posts added by X users.

Premium+ subscription also offers several features such as Reply boost, Edit post, Longer posts, Undo Post, Top Articles, Background video playback, Write Articles, Ads-revenue sharing, Create Subscriptions, Media Studio, Analytics, and the ability to post Longer videos. Subscribers will also get a Blue checkmark and early access to Grok AI.
