Realme has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Realme GT5 Pro, at a recent event in China, showcasing impressive features that cater to tech enthusiasts. The phone comes with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED Pro-XDR high dynamic display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, up to 16GB RAM, 50+8+50 MP rear camera, 32MP selfie camera, and 5400 mAh battery.
Realme GT5 Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. The display panel has up to 1600 nits of typical brightness, up to 4500 nits of peak brightness, and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM Dimming. The display also supports Dolby Vision.
Under the hood, the Realme GT5 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and Adreno 750 GPU. It is available in four configurations: 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB, utilizing LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Notably, the device introduces the 3VC iceberg cooling system, covering an extensive 12,000mm² area, coupled with the innovative Geek Performance Panel 2.0, enabling GPU+CPU dual scheduling for enhanced performance.
The phone’s design is equally noteworthy, with a nano leather finish available in red and white, while the black variant employs Star Flash AG glass technology. Dimensions measure 161.72×75.06×9.23mm, with the leather version weighing 218 grams and the glass version 224 grams.
The smartphone has a 50-megapixel primary camera camera with a Sony LYT-808 sensor, f/1.69 aperture, and OIS. It also has an 8-megapixel 112° ultra-wide camera with a Sony IMX355 sensor, and 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 periscope telephoto camera with OIS, and 3x optical zoom. The phone supports up to 8k 24 fps video recording. For selfies, the phone includes a 32-megapixel front camera with a Sony IMX615 sensor and 4k 30 fps video recording.
Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11 be, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS (L1+L5 Dual Band), Beidou/GPS/Glonass/Galileo/QZSS/NavlC, USB 3.2 Type-C, and NFC. The Realme GT5 Pro also features an in-display fingerprint sensor and infrared sensor, along with stereo speakers supporting Dolby Atmos.
Powering the device is a robust 5400mAh battery with 100W flash charging capability, claiming to charge up to 50% in just 12 minutes of wired charging. Additionally, the phone supports 50W wireless flash charging, and Realme assures that the battery will retain 80% health even after 1600 charging cycles.
