Realme just launched its latest budget phone Realme C55 in its C-series of smartphones. The phone features a mini capsule software feature that is similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island. Realme C55 has a 6.72-inch 90Hz display, Helio G88 processor, 64+2MP rear camera, 8 MP selfie camera, and 5000mAh battery. It starts at Rs. 10999. The phone was announced earlier this month in Indonesia.
Realme C55 features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The touch panel has up to 680 nits peak brightness. It runs Android 13 with realme UI 4.0 out of the box.
Realme C55 features a Dynamic Island-like Mini Capsule Notch that displays low battery alerts, charging status, data consumption, step count, and walking distance.
The phone packs Octa Core MediaTek Helio G88 12nm processor and Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It comes in two models: 4+64GB, 6+64GB, and 8+128 GB. Internal storage is expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card.
The rear camera setup includes 64 megapixels primary camera and 2 megapixels depth camera. For selfies, the phone also has 8 megapixel front camera.

Realme C55 has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It offers Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C connectivity options. The phone packs 5000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging.
Realme C55 comes in Sun Shower and Rainy Night colors. The phone has a plastic back with dual texture coating process. It measures 165.6×75.9×7.89mm and weighs 189.5g.
