Xiaomi India is set to launch its new tablet in India. It could be Xiaomiโs Mi Pad 5 series. The company has tweeted the teaser to confirm the tablet launch. Xiaomi India has also added a dedicated microsite to tease the launch of the tablet. This microsite has a timer for the launch.
The timer indicates that the tablet could be announced on April 1. So, I am not sure if the company is actually planning to launch the tablet in India or it is just an April Fool prank.
Xiaomiโs Mi Pad 5 series include Mi Pad 5 and the Pad 5 Pro tablets. These tablets have already been launched in China. We cannot say if the company plans to launch both the tablets or just one tablet.
Indiaโs tablet market is mainly led by Samsung and Lenovo. Realme also launched Realme Pad last year. Now Xiaomi is also planning to jump into the competition.
