Microsoft’s Xbox cloud gaming is now live

Xbox Cloud Gaming

Microsoft’s cloud gaming service (formerly called Project xCloud) is now live as a part of the subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $14.99 a month. For now, the service only supports Android smartphones and tablets. The service will be available in 22 countries from Tuesday 15 September.

Xbox Cloud Gaming is the game streaming service where all games are hosted on remote servers. People will play it on their devices. Controllers will send all the actions to these cloud servers and you will feel like you are gaming on your phone. It is similar to Google’s Stadia, PlayStation Now, and GeForce Now.

You will be able to play several Xbox games on your Android devices. The service also offers cloud saves, so you can continue playing the game on your gaming console. It also supports multiplayer and cross-play with PC players.

To get started with Xbox cloud gaming, you will have to download the Xbox Game Pass app, sign into your account and subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

It is coming with support for over 150 games at launch. Here is the list of games available to play.
