Resident Evil 8 is also one of the games announced today for PlayStation 5 at Sony’s online PS5 event. The game is called Resident Evil 8: Village. It will be released in 2021.
The game stars protagonist Ethan Winters and one can see snowy forest and werewolf-like creatures in the trainer video.
The previous game Resident Evil 7: Biohazard was released in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Similar to Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 8 also uses a first-person perspective.
The first Resident Evil game was launched for the first PlayStation in 1996. Resident Evil 4 also got popularity in 2005. Resident Evil 7 was also a big hit and sold over 7.5 million copies.
