Panasonic launches full-frame mirrorless cameras Lumix S1 and S1R in India

Today, Panasonic has launched its full-frame mirrorless Lumix S series in the Indian market. This series includes Lumix S1 and Lumix S1R.

Lumix S1R and S1 look almost same with the only noticeable difference is the “R” character at the right side of lens mount in S1R and “1” character in S1. Both the cameras come with 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor and a newly developed L lens mount.

Panasonic has included DFD technology and AI for offering intelligent and faster focus. The new Venus Engine also offers sharp focus.

Lumix S1R comes with a 47.3-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor that is the highest level of resolution in the full-frame mirrorless cameras. There is also a High-Resolution mode that enables 87-megapixel ultra-high precision photo with a pixel shift technology shooting.

The Lumix S1 comes with 4.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and the high-resolution mode enables 96-megapixel ultra-high precision photo in this camera.

Lumix S series cameras offer in-Body Image Stabilizer to compensate hand-shake movement and remove any kind of blur in photos. Both the cameras feature a 5.76M-dot OLED viewfinder along with Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi (2.4 + 5GHz) connectivity.
