Today, Sony along with its latest smartphone Sony Xperia Z2 also unveiled the Sony SmartBand for the Indian Gadget market. It is priced at Rs 5,990. The users who are buying Sony Xperia Z2 will be getting a free Sony smartband but it will be a limited period offer. Sony SmartBand will go on sale beginning May 12 along with Xperia Z2 in India
Talking about the features, Sony SmartBand will take care of your daily activities and fitness information. There are many smartphones which are compatible with Sony smartband including Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy Note III, Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2, Xperia Z1, Z1 Compact and Z Ultra. The smartband bluetooth is also compatible with Android 4.4 devices but Bluetooth 4.0 LE needed.
