Search engine giant, Google has added few more advance search queries in Gmail to make our mail search easier. Now Gmail users will be able to search emails by attachment size and date. It will help users to get what they are looking for.
“We’re always looking for ways to make it faster and easier for you to find your messages using search in Gmail. So starting today, you can now search emails by size, more flexible date options,” Gmail said in a blog post.
“For example, to find emails larger than 5MB, you can search for size:5m or larger:5m or to find emails sent over a year ago, older_than:1y,” Gmail explained.
Gmail also added new chat like compose window few days back which is being liked by Gmail users around the globe. This new addition of advance query is also very useful. Although, most of the Gmail users never know about these kind of queries but they should know. These kind of queries are always useful and time-saving.
If we take a look into past few months updates of Gmail, we see that Google is trying to improve Gmail search continuously. Few months back it has also integrated Google web search within Gmail.
