Facebook claims to have 901 million users

Facebook has announced few statistics of the website in its amended S-1 filing. In this company claims to have 901 million users. It is expected to cross 1 billion mark by the end of this year. It also said that Facebook users upload 300 million new photos daily and post 3.2 billion comments per day.

Company also claims that 526 million users were daily active users in March. It also said that more than 488 million users used the website on mobile devices last month.

Facebook also said that operating cost is now almost doubled. So the first-quarter profit fell 12%. Net income of the company fell to $205 million in the three months through March this year.
