yu yutopiaYU is all set to launch a powerful smartphone YU Yutopia in India. This smartphone will come with ultra high-end specifications to compete with OnePlus 2 other low-cost flagship devices. Company claims it to be “Most powerful phone phone ever.”

ANTUTU benchmark leaked the specifications of this new phone. This new phone will model number YU5050. It is rumored to feature a 5.2 inch Quad-HD display, Snapdragon 810 processor, Adreno 430 GPU, 4GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, Cyanogen OS 12.1, 21 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 8 megapixel front camera and microSD card slot. It will also have a 3GB RAM variant.

This phone is expected to be priced under Rs. 25000 to beat the competition.

Leaked details from Zauba’s listing also confirmed that few units have already been shipped in India. Price per unit is around Rs. 21k which is similar to what we are expecting.

It is a good move from the company, but we are still confused about the heating issues. All YU phones have major heating issues and this one with Snapdragon 810 will surely face heating issues. We are still waiting for official confirmation.
