OPPO F35 Series With 8000mAh Battery and 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera Launched in India

OPPO has launched its new F35 Series in India as the company marks 10 years of its F Series lineup in the country. The new series includes the OPPO F35 5G and OPPO F35 Pro 5G, with both phones focusing on camera capabilities, battery life and durability.

The two smartphones come with a large 8,000mAh battery and support 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. They also feature a 50-megapixel front camera with a 100-degree field of view, making the new F Series particularly focused on group selfies and wider selfies.

The OPPO F35 Pro 5G is the more premium model of the two and comes with a 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX processor and a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS. The standard F35 5G comes with a 120Hz AMOLED display and MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX chipset.

OPPO F35 Pro 5G

The OPPO F35 Pro 5G features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 2772 x 1272 pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display can reach up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness and also supports 2,160Hz PWM dimming and DC dimming.

The phone is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX processor. OPPO claims up to 30% higher CPU multi-core performance and 35% higher GPU performance compared to the previous generation. The phone uses a 5,000mm² SuperCool vapor chamber to manage heat during sustained workloads.

For photography, the F35 Pro has a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The front camera is also a 50-megapixel autofocus sensor with a 100-degree field of view.

OPPO is putting particular emphasis on the front camera. The phone uses a 0.6x wide perspective and an AI Auto Wide-Angle Switch that can automatically adjust the framing when more people are included in the shot. The front and rear cameras can record videos in up to 4K resolution.

Other camera features include Natural Tone 2.0, an updated Portrait Mode, Ultra-Bright Dual Rear Flashlight, Ultra-Steady video, Dual-View video, AI Popout and AI Remix Collage.

The F35 Pro comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers and an infrared sensor.

OPPO F35 5G

The standard OPPO F35 5G comes with a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 2372 x 1080 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel supports up to 1,400 nits brightness, 10-bit colour depth, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and up to 2,160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

The phone is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX chipset with an octa-core CPU and Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. Storage can also be expanded using a microSD card.

For cameras, the F35 has a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.9 aperture and a secondary 2-megapixel monochrome camera. The front camera is a 50-megapixel autofocus sensor with a 100-degree field of view. Both cameras support video recording of up to 2.5K resolution.

The phone also includes an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, an infrared sensor and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

Other features of F35 Series

Battery life is one of the biggest highlights of the new F35 Series. Both phones pack an 8,000mAh battery and support 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. OPPO says the battery can retain more than 80% of its capacity after up to 1,800 charging cycles. The company estimates this could provide up to six years of battery durability.

Both phones also come with extensive protection against water and dust. The F35 Pro carries IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, while the F35 also gets IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. The phones also offer military-grade durability and Rainstorm Touch, which is designed to keep the screen responsive when it is wet.

Connectivity features include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. OPPO has also included AI LinkBoost 4.0 to improve signal stability.

The phones run ColorOS 16 and come with features such as AI Recording, AI Ultra-Clear Documents, AI Call Guard and One-Tap Security Guard. The Trinity Engine is used for performance management, while the Pro model also gets a Luminous Rendering Engine for smoother animations.

OPPO F35 Series price in India

The OPPO F35 Pro 5G starts at Rs. 45,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 128GB version costs Rs. 49,999, while the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 54,999. It is available in Sunrise Orange, Wave Blue and Twilight Brown.

The OPPO F35 5G starts at Rs. 38,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model. The 8GB + 128GB variant costs Rs. 42,999. It comes in Wave Blue, Titanium Grey and Mist Pink.

The OPPO F35 Series will go on sale in India from October 11 through offline retail stores, the OPPO India E-Store, Flipkart and Amazon.in.

OPPO is also offering launch benefits on both models. The F35 Pro gets up to 18 months of zero down payment, up to 10% instant cashback, up to nine months of no-cost EMI and up to 10% exchange bonus. Buyers can also get 50% off on the OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro+.

The standard F35 gets up to 15 months of zero down payment, up to 10% instant cashback, up to six months of no-cost EMI and up to 10% exchange bonus. It also comes with a 50% discount on the OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro+.

Both phones are eligible for a free one-year extended warranty and a 20% discount on one-year SDP and ADLD plans during the launch offer period.
