Infinix has announced the India launch date of its next gaming smartphone, the GT 50 Pro. The smartphone will launch on October 27 with a design inspired by supercars, a visible liquid-cooling system, RGB lighting and dedicated gaming controls.
The Infinix GT 50 Pro will introduce the company’s HydroFlow Liquid Cooling System with an Explicit Viewport Design. Instead of keeping the cooling hardware hidden inside the phone, Infinix has added a dedicated window on the back that reveals the cooling channels. The company claims this is India’s first implementation of its HydroFlow cooling system with this type of visible design.
The cooling system uses a specially designed flow channel and a dual-pump setup to help manage heat. However, Infinix has not yet shared detailed performance figures or explained how much the system can reduce temperatures during extended gaming sessions.
The phone will also feature four RGB light strips arranged in the brand’s GT crosshair pattern. Called Mechanical Lighting Waves, the lighting system can respond to calls, gaming sessions and music playback. Users will be able to choose from 14 lighting effects and eight customisable colour options.
The GT 50 Pro will feature GT Trigger 2.0, which adds two pressure-sensitive shoulder buttons to the phone. These controls can be assigned to actions such as aiming and firing in supported games. They can also handle functions such as camera zoom and launching apps, giving users more control without relying entirely on touchscreen inputs.
Infinix has designed the phone around a Cyber Mecha aesthetic inspired by supercars. It features a textured rear panel with a Kevlar-style finish and will be available in Black Abyss and Red Blaze colour options. The Black Abyss variant features green cooling accents, while Red Blaze gets red accents.
Infinix has not announced the price or complete specifications of the GT 50 Pro yet. More details are expected at the October 27 launch, when we should learn how the phone’s gaming-focused features compare with other smartphones in its segment.
