Microsoft has kicked off another Free Play Days promotion for Xbox players, offering six games to try for free over the weekend. The latest lineup includes Borderlands 4, F1 25 2026 Season Edition, Surviving Mars: Relaunched, CarX Drift Racing Online, Dustborn, and EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27.
Five of the six games require an active Game Pass subscription to participate in the promotion. EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27 is the only title available without a Game Pass subscription.
The games included in this week’s Free Play Days promotion are:
- Borderlands 4 — Xbox Series X|S
- F1 25 2026 Season Edition — Xbox Series X|S
- Surviving Mars: Relaunched — Xbox Series X|S
- CarX Drift Racing Online — Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One
- Dustborn — Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One
- EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27 — Xbox Series X|S
For the five Game Pass-required titles, players need Game Pass Essential, Premium or Ultimate to access the Free Play Days versions. This requirement also applies to the single-player games included in the promotion.
Dustborn has an additional restriction. Because of the length of its campaign, players can only access the game for two hours during the Free Play Days event.
The games can be found directly on Xbox consoles by opening the Store, selecting Home from the sidebar and then going to the Subscriptions section.
The latest Xbox Free Play Days promotion is available until September 13 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
