OPPO has officially confirmed the India launch date for its upcoming F35 Series 5G. The new lineup will launch on October 5 at 12 PM and will include the OPPO F35 5G and OPPO F35 Pro 5G. The launch also marks 10 years of OPPO’s F-series in the Indian market.
OPPO is positioning the new F35 series around photography, particularly group selfies. The company is calling the phones “Group Selfie Experts”, with the F35 Pro 5G shown using its front camera to capture a wider group without requiring a selfie stick or stretching the arm too far.
The company has also teased AI camera features on the new phones. Promotional images show the F35 Pro 5G with a rear camera setup featuring a squarish module with rounded corners. OPPO describes the design as a “Smile Curve Design” with a “Starry Sea Lens Module”. The camera housing uses a One-Piece Cold Carving technique to create a smoother transition between the rear panel and the camera area.
The F35 series will also focus heavily on its design and finishes. OPPO has shown bright orange, light blue with a marble-like pattern, and matte black variants. The standard F35 5G will also be available in a pastel pink finish with a feather-like floral texture on the rear panel.
The two models will have different camera module designs. The F35 Pro 5G features a triple-camera setup, while the standard F35 5G uses a vertical pill-shaped camera module with two sensors and an LED flash ring. Both phones have flat frames with rounded corners and a modern mid-range design.
OPPO has not yet revealed the complete specifications or pricing of the F35 and F35 Pro 5G. The company is expected to announce details about the displays, processors, cameras, battery and other features at the October 5 launch event. Leaks have suggested high-refresh-rate AMOLED displays, large batteries and 5G-capable chipsets for the series.
