Mivi, known for its audio products, has entered the Indian smartphone market with the launch of the Mivi One 5G. The company is starting its smartphone journey in the competitive budget segment, with a focus on clean software, long battery life and 5G connectivity.
Mivi One 5G has a 6.745-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel has a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and uses 2.5D cover glass. It has a waterdrop notch for the front camera.
The phone measures 9.15mm in thickness and weighs around 219 grams. It has a 2.5D PMMA rear panel and a polycarbonate front construction with an injection-moulded aluminium-titanium alloy frame. It also carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.
The Mivi One 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 mobile platform. It is a 4nm chipset with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 613 GPU. Mivi claims that the phone can score around 490,000 points on AnTuTu.
The phone comes in three variants: 4GB, 6GB and 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. All variants get 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There is also a microSD card slot for expandable storage, although the phone uses a hybrid SIM slot.
The Mivi One 5G runs Pure Android 16. Mivi says the software is free from bloatware, which should make the phone’s interface closer to the stock Android experience. The company has also promised software updates up to Android 18. This gives the phone a stated upgrade path beyond its launch version.
The phone has a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF. It is paired with a secondary auxiliary sensor. An 8-megapixel camera on the front handles selfies and video calls.
Mivi is also using its audio expertise for the phone’s calling experience. The Mivi One 5G introduces Mivi ClearTalk, which uses the company’s Mivi Neural Voice Engine for real-time noise suppression. It is designed to reduce background sounds such as traffic, wind and conversations during calls.
Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS. The phone supports dual SIM use, with the second slot also usable for a microSD card. Other hardware features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
The phone has a 6000mAh battery with support for 18W USB Power Delivery 2.0 charging.
Mivi One 5G price and Big Billion Days offer
The Mivi One 5G is priced at ₹14,999 for the 4GB + 128GB model. The 6GB + 128GB variant costs ₹15,999, while the 8GB + 128GB version is priced at ₹16,999.
During Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale, the phone will be available at lower net effective prices after applicable bank offers.

The 4GB variant gets a ₹1,000 bank offer, while the 6GB and 8GB models get a ₹1,500 bank offer as part of the advertised effective pricing.
The first sale will start at midnight on October 8 through Flipkart. The phone will be available in Blue, Pink, Green, Burgundy and Navy Blue.
Jio customers get additional benefits
Mivi is also offering additional benefits to Jio subscribers who purchase the phone. The bundle includes a 12-month Canva Pro subscription, a one-month Hotstar Mobile + Hollywood subscription and an 18-month Google Gemini Pro plan with 5TB of Google Cloud storage.
Jio customers will also get 50GB of Jio AI Cloud storage.
Mivi promises local manufacturing and long-term smartphone plans
Mivi says the One 5G is manufactured in India and that the smartphone launch is the beginning of a larger push into the mobile category.
The company plans to build its design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities in India. Mivi says its goal is to develop an indigenously engineered smartphone within the next 12 months.
The phone comes with a one-year standard warranty and a seven-day replacement guarantee under Mivi’s “Replaced, not repaired” policy. Customers can use the Mivi Care+ app for support.
Mivi says it has more than 500 physical service centres across the country. It is also offering free doorstep pickup and drop service across more than 19,000 PIN codes, with an estimated turnaround time of 7 to 10 days.
