Lava has launched the Bold N4 Pro 5G in India as its latest budget 5G smartphone. The phone focuses on a large 120Hz display, 5G connectivity, a big battery, and a clean Android experience.
The smartphone features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a waterdrop notch and can reach up to 550 nits of brightness in HBM mode.
Lava has used a flat-edge design for the phone. The device also carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. On the back, there is a square-shaped camera module with a 50-megapixel primary camera, a secondary sensor, and an LED flash. The phone supports 2K video recording, while an 8-megapixel camera is placed on the front.
The Bold N4 Pro 5G is powered by the Unisoc T8200 chipset, built on a 6nm process. It is an octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.3GHz and uses the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
Lava has paired it with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card, while virtual RAM support is also available.
The phone runs Android 16 and comes with a clean, unthemed Android interface. Lava says it does not include third-party bloatware or intrusive ads.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM support, 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and GLONASS.
The Bold N4 Pro 5G packs a 6,000mAh battery, which should be useful for users who want longer battery life without charging frequently. The phone supports 18W charging over USB Type-C.
